Global Sports Recruitment provide talented young athletes from around the world with an exclusive opportunity to pursue an academic and athletic career. GSR pride themselves on reliable, trustworthy staff who have crucial first-hand experience networking with over 2500 US college coaches.

ID Camps 2019

Dave McPherson and Simone Enrici, directors of Global Sports Recruitment, recently travelled to Australia to run Player ID Camps designed to scout and identify some of the best young talents from across Australia.

The trip was highly successful thanks to a terrific turnout of talented players who made the effort to attend our events in Sydney, Melbourne and the Central Coast.

The quality of player on show was immensely impressive, and accordingly, we now have several Australian clients on board. We are excited to represent them in gaining sports scholarships in the United States, giving the best chance in both sporting and academic pursuits.

As a result, GSR will be returning to Australia on a regular basis to identify the next generation of GSR recruits with our Player ID Camps and client matches.

GSR has a history of success within the Australian region, as director Dave McPherson was involved in identifying some of the most promising Australian talents and moving them onto Europe.

Under his guidance and mentorship, players such as Scott McDonald, Patrick Kisnorbo and Ryan McGowan would go on to full international recognition with the Socceroos, with McGowan starring for Australia in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

MEET THE GSR EXPERT

Dave McPherson’s playing career speaks for itself, but Dave takes equal pride in his accomplishments after retiring from professional football. After a spell in Australia at the tail-end of his career, Dave was involved in identifying some of the most promising Australian talents and moving them onto Europe. Under his guidance and mentorship, players such as Scott McDonald, Patrick Kisnorbo and Ryan McGowan would go on to full international recognition with the Socceroos, with McGowan starring for Australia in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

In addition to his successful sports management business, Dave’s attentions have expanded into identifying the best young talent from across the globe for GSR, and assists them in gaining sports scholarships in the United States, giving them the best chance in both sporting and academic careers. Dave is delighted to be returning to Australia in the hopes of finding the next generation of sports stars with the new GSR ID Camps across the country.
